Body Attack

BODYATTACK™ is the sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises. Dynamic instructors and powerful music motivate everyone towards their fitness goals - from the weekend athlete to the hard-core competitor!

 



Zumba Gold

Designed for those who are new to Zumba Fitness, especially the senior clientele, those who consider themselves unfit or haven't been exercising in a long time. Based on the same idea as Zumba Fitness, Zumba Gold is less intense. For those who prefer a lower impact class but with the same amount of fun!

Step
A fun exercise to music class based on the use of a step which will help to increase fitness levels as well as increasing fat burning benefits. With over 2,000 steps per session you'll see results in record time.

Spinning 'Bike it'
The ultimate ride with your motivating instructor who leads the pack for either a 30 minute or 45 minute interval training indoor cycle – the equivalent of riding through hills, flats, mountain peaks – all set to the addictive rhythm of powerful music. You choose your personal aerobic intensity as you burn up to 900 calories per hour! All abilities welcome

Boxercise

Boxing provides the optimal combination of aerobic and anaerobic exercise, stimulating all muscles groups and offering and challenging and fun workout! Traditionally a male dominated sport, the popularity and recognition of women’s boxing is growing rapidly. Bnefits include building confidence, concentration and discipline, as well as a great stress relief!

Body Balance
A unique blend of Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi exercises to build flexibility and develop core muscle strength. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches and postural moves to music create a workout that brings the body into a state of harmony. It’s the best programme to provide recovery to your body.

Pilates

Designed to elongate, strengthen and restore the body to balance. Based upon an anatomical understanding of the body's muscular and skeletal systems. Classes will focus on specific areas individually whilst using exercises that integrate the whole body to re-educate and restore it to optimum muscular and skeletal function.

Fitness Pilates

Fitness Pilates is a group exercise programme designed to enhance posture, strength, balance and stability of a healthy adult. Fitness Pilates is a training option that focuses on the body as a human kinetic chain. By applying the fundamental Pilates technique and exercise, Fitness Pilates aims to offset musculoskeletal imbalances, increase muscular balance and strength, improve clients posture, facilitate the clients ability to optimally function occupationally and recreationally, and improve core and back strength.

Yoga

Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual discipline originating from ancient India. The goal of yoga, or of the person practicing yoga, is the attainment of a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquility while meditating on Supersoul. New for 2012, you can now relax during our Yoga class on a Monday at 1pm.

Body Conditioning

A varied class designed to tone and sculpt the entire body, working the key muscles in the shoulders, arms, waist, tummy, bottom, hips and legs. 45 minutes of standing exercises, including some high intensity but low impact aerobic work (ie no jumps or jogs) to give fat burning results as well as toning results. Followed by 15 minutes floor work, ending with a relaxing stretch.

Body Pump

The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. It’s a 60-minute workout that challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls.

Aqua Aerobics

Water-based aerobics is performed in shallow water. In addition to the standard benefits of any exercise, the use of water in water aerobics supports the body and reduces the risk of muscle or joint injury. The mitigation of gravity makes water aerobics safe for individuals able to keep their heads out of water, including the elderly. Exercise in water can also prevent overheating through continuous cooling of the body. Most classes last for 45-55 minutes. You do not have to be a strong swimmer to participate in Aqua Aerobics
